Does what it says on the tin. Rifter is certainly interesting. This is a rather unique and really solid precision platformer with tight controls and satisfying gameplay. You'll swing and dash your way through enemies and levels while jamming to a solid set of tracks. It is tough, but in a way that is uber satisfying when you get that smooth run down. Combat is extremely satisfying and can be made as fancy or simple as you choose. I would be remiss if I did not mention the characters. Tiny, your companion, and Zip, the challenge giver, are awesome. They really bring the smiles amidst some of your frustration. This is a speedrunning platformer, so story\/characters may not be that important, but to me, those two really give a lot of personality to this title. If the trailers look interesting to you, I'd recommend giving it a try for yourself. What videos cannot portray is the actual *feeling* of swinging through the levels and arena combat areas, and how good it feels to get a smooth pass on a level you've been having trouble with. Rifter is a very fluent and fast paced rope platformer.Speed runs and collectibles as well as challenges for the levels takeit all to a new difficulty.I like the sound optics and overall look and feel. Its cool to play andhard to master ;) watching speedruns of other people makes it looksuper easy! But try yourself. Worth playing for sure!Either for a nice experience inbetween or the hardcore challenge through and through!. Absolutely tons of fun! The controls and gameplay are super tight, and the speed is just right! The interface is great and the levels variation and mechanics are fantastic! It's quick to pick up (but takes skill to master) and the level length is perfect even if you only have a few minutes to play here and there! The game gives you the feeling that you are doing something awesome. It makes fun and gives you anger, but good anger that let's you enjoy your success even more. The soundtrack is a perfect match to the visuals of the game as well. I've ran into a few parts that were difficult to pass, but the satisfaction of smoothly beating the level makes it worth it.
